Rough Cuts came to life in late 2018 with members from Reckless Upstarts, Dirty Work, Bare Bones, and The Harmonauts. Seeing a gap left in the Oi! scene in Toronto, they took it upon themselves to fill it with aggressive and catchy songs.

 

Releasing a four-song demo in 2019, the five-piece gained momentum in their first year, taking the stage with bands such as Grade 2, The Prowlers, Hudson Falcons, and The Lucky Ones.

 

2020 looked promising, but the global pandemic of COVID-19 forced them to a grinding stop. Shows planned for the beginning of the year included bands such as The Bois, Dirty Work and The Elite and as well as a slot at the Montreal Oi! Fest beside The Oppressed, The Prowlers, Rixe, and Ironside.

 

A temporary setback that won't hold them back, Rough Cuts are firing on all cylinders with no intention of slowing down.
